Your website does rightfully belongs at the center of your web / internet marketing strategy.  However, if it is unsupported by a broader, data driven integrated marketing strategy its utility and your investment is significantly compromised. A beautiful website by itself will not likely get you where you want to go.

As you may know marketing on the web is a broad mix encompassing many specializations. There are many tools in the web marketing toolbox.

  • Web development; including usability, merchandising, shopping cart optimization, site search, graphic design and more.
  • Web marketing; including “natural” search, “paid” search, link development, RSS/Blogs, “Social Media”, directory submissions, PPC/CPM/CPA, Display and more.
  • Then there are separate disciplines around Email marketing, Affiliate marketing, Geo targeting, mobile/local search etc.

And to cap it off, spanning all of this is web analytics for making data driven decisions.
It’s all much too broad for most mortals to be fully expert in all disciplines. What is helpful is working with those who while perhaps expert in various aspects are likewise expertly networked. If they don’t know the answer they’re working with someone who does. What is the makup of the team you’re working with?

In this blog we hope to present some ideas, comment on the rapidly evolving online marketplace but also showcase subject matter experts who present best practices and thought leadership. And we’ll have some fun too.

Our purpose is to enable clients. We hope to empower them with access, the tools and information for them to communicate with their community, customers and clients most effectively.
